Cancellation Policy
This Subscription Cancellation & Refund Policy (the “Policy”) sets out the conditions under which subscribers may cancel their subscriptions and request refunds. The Policy is intended to provide reasonable flexibility to subscribers while ensuring fair and consistent subscription management.
This Policy applies to Monthly, Quarterly, and Annual subscription plans offered for the Textero.io Services.
1. Refund Request Procedure:
To submit a refund request, the subscriber must contact Textero using the same email address associated with the subscription account and the original payment. This requirement is imposed for verification and security purposes.
All refund requests are subject to review in accordance with this Policy and the applicable Terms and Conditions.
2. Monthly Subscriptions:
Subscribers may cancel a Monthly subscription and request a full refund within the first seven (7) calendar days from the commencement of the subscription, provided that the Service has not been used excessively.
For the purposes of this Policy, excessive use includes, without limitation:
- the generation of three (3) or more documents.
Where access to the Service is enabled immediately upon purchase, such immediate commencement shall occur only with the subscriber’s express consent and acknowledgment that exceeding the above usage thresholds results in the forfeiture of the statutory right of withdrawal, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
If a Monthly subscription is cancelled after the initial seven (7) day period, no refund shall be granted for the current Billing Cycle. However, no further subscription charges will be applied, and the cancellation shall take effect at the end of the then-current Billing Cycle.
Any approved refund shall be processed exclusively to the same Payment Method and account from which the original payment was made.
3. Quarterly and Annual Subscriptions
Subscribers to Quarterly or Annual subscriptions may cancel their subscription and request a full refund within the first fourteen (14) calendar days from the commencement of the subscription, provided that the Service has not been used excessively.
For the purposes of this Policy, excessive use means:
- for Quarterly subscriptions: generation of three (3) or more documents;
- for Annual subscriptions: generation of five (5) or more documents.
If the applicable usage threshold is exceeded during the fourteen (14) day refund eligibility period, the subscriber shall no longer be eligible for a refund.
Cancellations submitted after the expiration of the initial fourteen (14) day period shall prevent future renewals and charges but shall not entitle the subscriber to any refund for the portion of the subscription period already elapsed.
4. Annual Subscriptions:
Eligible subscription plans include a one-time subscription pause option per active subscription (the “Subscription Pause”), subject to the following limits:
- Quarterly subscriptions: one (1) pause of up to one (1) month;
- Annual subscriptions: one (1) pause of up to three (3) months.
During a Subscription Pause, billing is suspended and access to paid features and functionalities may be limited or temporarily suspended. Upon expiration of the Subscription Pause period, the subscription shall automatically resume, and billing shall recommence in accordance with the applicable Billing Cycle, unless the subscription is cancelled prior to resumption.
Use of a Subscription Pause does not extend or renew the fourteen (14) day refund eligibility period.
5. Subscription Management:
Subscribers may manage, pause (if eligible), or cancel their subscription at any time through their account settings. Cancellation prevents future automatic renewals and charges but does not affect fees already incurred, except as expressly provided in this Policy.
6. Refund Process:
Where a refund is approved in accordance with this Policy, it shall be processed solely to the original Payment Method used for the subscription purchase. No refunds shall be issued to alternative accounts or payment instruments.
